Incident Details

• A 31-year-old Bradenton man was crossing near East Venice Avenue and the U.S. 41 Bypass at approximately 10 p.m.
• A northbound car struck the pedestrian.
• The driver left the area without remaining at the crash scene.
• The pedestrian subsequently died from his injuries.
• Venice Police later identified a suspect, located the vehicle and made an arrest in connection with the collision.
